Stylistically, the music is a post-Weather Report jazz over funk, with aggressive and robust solos from saxophonist Tim Green and pianist Michael Lemmler. The CD alternates between intense grooves and beautiful ballads. The locked in rhythm section of bassist Markway and drummer Doug Belote is one of the most in demand rhythm sections in all of New Orleans. This is a great CD getting great reviews.
