OGOGO consists of Rod Oakes on trombone, Igor on guitar, Daren Burns on bass, and Dan Savell on drums. This versatile group of Los Angeles musicians performs in concert and on CD works that range from the avant-garde to straight ahead jazz. On this CD. The four musicians perform this original music demonstrating the highest levels of jazz performance.

This CD is a showcase for these original songs by Oakes and performed by OGOGO. Many of these songs were composed with Larry Heimgartener for a series of musicals produced in the Los Angeles area. Some songs were created for this kind of setting, a jazz quartet of superb musicians.
