Product Description
Guy OHRESSER, a young and promising guitarist from Eastern France, has become the ambassador of a kind of melodic and accessible jazz-rock fusion. Accompanied by bass-player Regis LAMORA (On two tracks) and of drummer Hervé ROUYER (ANGE), he recorded a very good first album called "Traversée". Issued in 1997 on the Musea Parallèle label, it shows a delicate post-fusion style based on ethereal and fresh melodies. Refined guitars also create sunny and light lines. It evokes Jean-Pascal BOFFO (Present here at the production) but with more melodies, and also takes some evanescent touch after Pat METHENY. Here is then a masterpiece, and it would truly be a pity if you missed it !
