.. the amazingly prolific, talented and perennially ignored local guitar guru Reynold Philipsek has released another impressive album of mainstream jazz.
Product Description
An innovative departure from his solo work, Reynold enlists the very talented saxophonist Al Asmus and equally talented bassist Jeff Engholm to explore some of Reynold's work. The first three tracks (Lisbon '65, The Laughing Cavelier and Sidewalk Cafe) provide the listener with some intriguing harmonic backdrops for melody and improvisation. These three pieces form the suite. There are an additional two bonus tracks.
