GOZZOZOO is a new French jazz-rock band, led by Didier ERARD (NEO) and Alain GOZZO (ATOLL’s legendary drummer). Needless to say it's going to be huge ! The musical career of the latter is a twenty-five years long succession of meetings with famous musicians, from many musical genres. He uses this experience to create a music that mixes jazz-rock fusion, Progressive rock and latin music. There are nine titles in "Pictures Of The New World" (1998), and they are all filled-up with energy and high technical skill. Some famous musical guests, such as PierreJean GAUCHER (ABUS DANGEREUX), Jean-Luc THILLOT (ATOLL) or Jean-Claude RAPIN (Patrick RONDAT) were part of the experience. Let's also notice an appearance by American bass player Stuart HAMM, regular contributor with Joe SATRIANI. If you’re not running to your favourite record dealer to buy this one, only one explanation: you’re dead, six feet under, and you don’t know it yet !
