Frédéric SCHNEIDER is a French electric bass virtuoso. As he wanted to avoid a too technical and demonstrative music, he created his own jazz-rock fusion band with the assistance of an impressive list of guests: FRED AND CO. This really modern band plays a music influenced by WEATHER REPORT, SPYRO GYRA or SIXUN. The first eponymous album, engineered in 1996, is a real success, with very diverse atmospheres and an outstanding technical skill. Several guests are famous among the local scene: Cyril ACHARD, Christian BEYA (ATOLL), Sylvain LUC, Jean-Marc JAFFET, Jean-Pierre KLARES, Carlos PAVICICH, etc… Nice stuff !
