Product Description
"Gone Fishin' in Krakow" A debut Contemporary Jazz recording and produced by Eric Trapp and Jarek Smietana. The music is cool swinging, groovy jazz quintet, featuring Trombone and Guitar lead. Four great old standards contrast with eight new modern compositions for a relaxing yet upbeat feeling. The theme song was made famous by Bing Crosby and Loius Armstrong, and "Smile" the theme song to Charlie Chaplin's "Modern Times" in particular reveals the emotional connection between jazz past and present. The music is fresh, full of life, and never flashy or tiring.
