About the Artist
Dorothy spends a lot of time performing in senior centers and small clubs and also in a book and record store in San Francisco. She recently portrayed a homeless angel in the American production of St. Francois d'Assise at the San Francisco Opera House.
Her first interest, however, is jazz singing, something she's wanted to do since her first appearance at the Apollo Theatre's Amateur Night in Harlem, NYC>
Product Description
This album has been in the making since Dorothy was in high school, since two of the songs were written way back then. There's something for everyone here; jazz, pop, blues, even polka. Simply smooth listening and dancing music.
It's Wonderful,Dorothy Lefkovits,Dorothy Lefkovits,Three of the songs are 50's style rhythm and blues; one is a 21st century tune, and lively; one is a very up-tempo surprise for people who like to move fast when they dance; one is a slow blues number; one is a celebration of the whole album.
