The .28mm dot pitch ensures sufficient sharpness, and an image-improving anti-reflective, anti-static screen coating makes long viewing sessions more comfortable. The Invar shadow mask CRT is especially effective rendering fine lines and text, making the 710v excellent for CAD/CAM applications. The maximum resolution of 1280x1024 is good for its class. Front-mounted buttons control screen attributes and allow access to the on-screen display. Energy Star compliant, this Toshiba monitor uses VESA DPMS power management to save energy, powering down when idle for an extended period.
