The PJ551 is ViewSonic's ideal, go-anywhere, 5.4-pound ultra-portable projector. With high brightness at 1,500 lumens and a high contrast ratio of 400:1, the PJ551 delivers vibrant, bright colors with lifelike depth, even in well-lit rooms. True 1,024 x 768 resolution (1,280 x 1,024 maximum) produces exceptional image quality for both data and video.
The PJ551 offers a short focal length for versatility in any setting, digital keystone correction for a square image at any angle, and zoom. Plus, the progressive-scan component-video input allows superior video quality, while its whisper-mode setting lengthens lamp life and maintains low-noise output. The lamp is user-replaceable.
The projector displays computer (RGB), NTSC, PAL, SECAM, and HDTV signals, including 480i, 480p, 575i, 720p, and 1080i. For better format flexibility, the PJ551 also accommodates both 4:3 and 16:9 aspect ratios. Auto tuning and one-touch setup button simplify sync and focus operations. A soft carry case is supplied.
