Powered by Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition and packed with multimedia software, you'll have everything you need to store, edit, and share digital photos, audio, and video. It features a built-in 54g Broadcom 802.11b/g wireless LAN so you can get online easily wherever you are, and a large, integrated 15-inch display.

The Basics

• Hard Drive: The 60ÊGB hard drive (4200 RPM) gives you more than enough room to take your digital photos, music, and video, along with games and other files on the road with you
• Processor: The 2.133ÊGHz AMD Athlon XP-M processor provides lightening-fast speeds for more efficient operation and better performance while running multiple applications.
• Memory:ÊWith 256ÊMB DDR SDRAM, you can run more applications at once without sacrificing speed. DDR (Double Data Rate) RAM is designed to provide faster access speeds, because data is sent to both the beginning and the end of each clock cycle. You can also choose to upgrade later to more memory (up to 1 GB) with one more DIMM slot.
• CD/DVD Drive: Featuring an integrated CD-RW/DVD drive, the HP Pavilion ze4805us lets you play and record CD media (with 40x read, 16x write, and 10x rewrite speeds) and play DVDs (with 24x read speeds).
• Keyboard & Mouse: It features aÊ101-key compatible keyboard and touch pad.
• Display: The extra large 15.0 inch TFT XGA (1024 x 768) display gives you more room for more applications with crisper, brighter color on a high-resolution display.

Sound and Graphics
The built-in ATI MOBILITY RADEON 4x AGP graphics card has 64 MB shared video memory for some 3-D support, and can also drive a second monitor. A 16-bit Sound Blaster Pro-compatible audio card supports the integrated Altec Lansing stereo speakers.

Connectivity and Expansion Slots
Get online wherever you are with the 54g integrated Broadcom 802.11b/g wireless LAN. Or use the integrated 10/100 Ethernet LAN modem to connect with a DSL or cable modem with speeds up to 100 Mbps. It also features the following external ports:

Preloaded System and Software
The Pavilion ze4805us notebook comes loaded with Windows XP Home Edition, which makes it easy for you to get up and running as quickly as possible. It's packed with multimedia features to help you get your creative juices flowing. Windows Media Player lets you burn and play CDs, in addition to playing and organizing digital audio files. Windows MovieMaker is a basic video editing tool that helps you capture and edit digital video to save your memories and share them with others.

Other options for digital audio and video are packaged with the notebook, including Roxio Easy CD Creator Basic, InterVideo WinDVD, InterVideo WinDVD SE Player, HP Image Zone Plus photo and imaging software, and Apple iTunes with access to the Apple iTunes Music Store.
