The Mylex FlashPoint DW is a dual channel wide host adapter offering device driver support for major industry standard desktop operating systems. It is based on Mylex-designed ASIC technology. It provides high-performance interconnection between the Peripheral Component Interconnect (PCI) bus and up to thirty (fifteen on each channel) Small Computer System Interface (SCSI) peripheral devices.Mylex host adapters offer exceptionally high product reliability due to reduced component count and lower power consumption. Minimized command overhead results in faster command execution.
