With this adapter parallel ATA (IDE) hard disk drives can be connected to the GDT8546RZ SATA controller. This native SATA adapter has an integrated activity LED to identify attached hard disks. A Y-shaped power cable for a standard HDD power connection that can support both with power, the SATA/PATA Adapter and a suitable IDE Hard drive, is included.
