A NR100 is the Promise Technology Ultra100 card without the boot-ROM chip. NR100 can only be used with FA11, FB11 and AZ11 motherboards. In order to use the card, users have to update the motherboard BIOS (xxxNR) that has Promise BIOS implementation.
