The HP StorageWorks Network Storage Router e1200 is a key component in a complete data protection solution. The e1200 Opal SKU includes a cooling kit and one Fiber Channel-to-SCSI router card with one 1 Gb or 2 Gb Fiber Channel port and two SCSI (LVD/SE) ports. The e1200 Graphite SKU contains one router card with one 1 Gb or 2 Gb Fiber Channel port and two SCSI (LVD/SE) ports. The embedded routers are for customers who want to save on rack space by implementing their Fiber Channel to SCSI router inside the library. By connecting tape libraries to the SAN backup windows are up to five times faster reducing the downtime of business operations. Customers can also take advantage of serverless backup support, 1 Gb or 2 Gb Fiber Channel support and the Web-based management.
