The IBM NetMEDIA Systems Management Adapter is an optional interface adapter card available for the NetMEDIA chassis. The NetMEDIA Adapter interfaces between the SCSI signals from a server to the devices installed in the NetMEDIA, providing SCSI Ultra2 compatibility, chassis system monitoring, and other system enhancements. The card is designed to work in combination with the IBM NetMEDIA Storage Expansion Unit EL.
