Adding capacity and modifying fault tolerance levels provide the ease and flexibility necessary to modify storage systems as businesses grow and needs change. Users can configure multiple arrays per disk drive, each with its own RAID level, stripe size, and file system. Investments in legacy drive technology are protected with the ability to fully utilize the capacity of new, larger disk drives in the same arrays as older, smaller disk drives.
