The removable 1-GB IBM Microdrive easily transfers files between notebook computers, pocket PCs, or handheld computers. The Microdrive can store almost 700 times more data and images than a diskette, all in a footprint measuring less than one-inch square. This combination of small size and high performance makes the Microdrive an ideal solution for applications that require both portability and high data/image quality.
The Microdrive is an ideal accessory for notebook computers, digital cameras, pocket PCs or handheld computers, and other portable handheld electronic devices, including some MP3 players. Combining Industry-standard CompactFlash+ Type II form factor with ATA and PCMCIA-compatible CompactFlash+ interface along with plug-and-play removable storage, the drive is compatible with Windows OS '95 or newer.
