Swappable with other modular bay options, EZBay is fast, flexible and friendly. This rugged modular bay includes a 2.5" hard drive and is available in capacities to meet your needs.Because EZ-Bay is in the notebook's modular bay, it is up to 100 times faster than an external hard drive. EZ Bay includes the Award winning EZ-GIG software that makes an exact mirror image of your hard disk, so a full backups take just minutes instead of hours. The software bundle includes Apricorn's SMART-ER, S.M.A.R.T. Error Reporting Utility, which gives advanced warning of impendending drive failures. EZ-Bay includes specialized backup software that allows the user to schedule backups through Windows and perfectly compliments the EZ-GIG backup, by providing incremental updates to a full EZ-GIG backup.This modular adapter is designed for Compaq M700, E500, V300.
