CenDyne's All-in-One DVD-R/RW and CD-R/RW Drive gives you the power to create and record anything and everything from MP3s and CD-Audio music to VCD and DVD movies. It is a third-generation DVD-R/RW drive with the widest possible playback compatibility, meaning the discs you make will work on most DVD players. Also, the DVD-R/RW drive lets you record onto full 4.7 GB DVD media, removing the need for backing up over several CD-Rs. That's more than seven CD-Rs onto a single DVD-R.
The DVD-R's higher transfer rate means that you'll be recording more, faster. Even with the benefits of the DVD-R, you'll still be able to create your own compilation CDs and back up your existing ones to play in nearly all CD players. Plus, since both are in a single drive, you can get rid of that old CD-R without sacrificing your options.
CenDyne uses an Enhanced-IDE (ATAPI) interface to provide the fastest and best quality throughput to the rest of your computer for excellent digital copies of your files. Digital Audio Output (S/PDIF) is also supported, as well as Perfect Audio Verification, a disc verification feature that ensures perfect disc copies and accurate disc geometry. The All-in-One DVD-R/RW is compatible with PCs only and comes with mastering software that allows you to write, rewrite, store, and transfer information to your desired medium.
Requirements for the CenDyne include a Pentium 300 MHz or faster processor, Windows 98 or later, 64 MB of RAM, 40 to 240 MB hard-disk space (for recording software), an available EIDE port (audio and data cable included), and an available 5.25-inch bay.
CenDyne provides a one-year warranty on parts and labor for the DVD-R/RW and CD-R/RW internal drive.
