The Que! external FireWire SuperDrive allows you to write DVD-R, DVD-RW, CD-R, CD-RW discs all from a single drive. Write DVD-R General discs at 2x speed and cut your wait time in half. With the ability to write 4.7 GB of data in 30 minutes, DVD-R General discs are an affordable way to create the versatile storage you need. Write DVD-RW and use the same disc up to 1,000 times for heavy-duty backup, data storage and exchange, video authoring, image archiving, and more. DVD (Digital Versatile Disc) opens the door to the large storage capacities required for video authoring, image and data archiving, etc., and it works in any of today's computer or set-top players that are DVD-R and/or DVD-RW compliant. And the Que! SuperDrive features two FireWire ports, so you can easily daisy-chain other FireWire devices like digital cameras, hard drives, and more.
The Que! DVD SuperDrive can also read and write to industry standard CD-R media at 8x and CD-RW media at 4x. Write your smaller data jobs and audio discs using this function and access or play them back in any CD-ROM or DVD-ROM with CD-R or CD-RW compatibility, including many car and home players.
The Que! SuperDrive is shipped with the MedioStream neoDVD Standard encoding/decoding and additional authoring software for PC. The complete software suite allows the capture, transcoding, pre-authoring, authoring, pre-mastering, and mastering capabilities you need to produce top-quality data and video DVDs*. Also includes Roxio Toast software for Macintosh for data authoring.
*DVD movie authoring on Macintosh requires third-party software (not included).
