Built with half-height dimensions, the TS-H492A offers speeds ranging up to 52x CD writing, 32x CD rewriting, 52x CD reading, and 16x DVD reading. The TS-H492A features an EIDE/ATAPI interface for easy installation and a buffer memory of 2 MB.
The drive supports Ultra DMA 2 mode and Mt. Rainier technology, which permits drag-and-drop configuration of your recordable media, and integrated Superlink buffer underrun prevention technology ensures error-free discs.
Read/playback compatibility extends to DVD-Video, DVD-R, DVD-RW, and DVD-RAM. The package includes Nero and PowerDVD software for Windows to assist you in making backups and audio/video creations.
