The Hewlett-Packard CD-Writer 9600se is a powerful external CD-rewritable drive for writing and rewriting CDs. Its SCSI interface and generous 4 MB buffer ensure reliability as you create, share, and store data on high-capacity CDs. Boasting 12x write, 8x rewrite, and 32x read speeds, the drive lets you record up to 700 MB of data or 80 minutes of audio to CD media. With included HP Fast Format software you can format a CD-RW disc for use like a floppy, and then just drag and drop files to CD from Windows Explorer. Also bundled with the drive, HP's CD Creation software lets you create your own custom music or photo CDs.
The 9600se supports track-at-once, disc-at-once, packet, and multisession writing methods and comes with a one-year warranty.
