About the Author
Dexter Clay was born and educated in Houston, Texas. After spending ten years tracking down the career of a professional athlete he moved to Los Angeles California, April 1, 1986 to study acting and music. One afternoon back in 1989 while on the Paramount pictures Star Trek the next Generation set he began to jot down in a notebook some thoughts about this country. Never realizing that these thoughts would result into the best selling book Black Eye On America. Residing in Beverly Hills California, Dexter is currently working on a novel called Only For A Season. In his spare time he can be found caoching young boys 10-12 the game of football with the West side Bruins Mighty-mites or you can find him at the Beverly Hills YMCA working with young boys and girls teaching them the art of basketball. Concern with the direction that America is headed he believes that the real hope for this nation can be found in our kids. His philosophies are simple he believes that todays leadership is simply a reflection of what we have become as a nation. And that true leadership must be found within ourselves.
