Editorial Reviews
Book Description
This book focuses on providing a solid foundation in SolidWorks along with a competency based project approach. Commands are introduced in a step-by-step manner. Each chapter addresses a progressive learning approach, lists desired outcomes and usage competencies, and identifies a project with reflective information on the previous project situation. The book complements the on-line tutorials contained within SolidWorks. The MultiMedia CD uses Flash movies for an audio/visual presentation of the exercises in the book.
Overview of Projects
Project 1: Fundamentals of Part Modeling
- Project 1 introduces the basic concepts behind SolidWorks and the SolidWorks 2006 user interface.
