About the Author
Marian Robertson Wilson is a distinguished musician, linguist, and teacher. Former assistant solo 'cellist of the Utah Symphony, she is also noted for her solo and chamber music appearances. Recognized internationally as music editor of the "Coptic Encyclopedia" and for her pioneering studies of Coptic music, she has had works published in nine countries and has taught or lectured at prominent universities throughout the United States and Europe.M
