This collection of studies and pieces in notation and tablature presents several major, minor, and pentatonic scales, speed studies, and etudes to build your speed and dexterity on the guitar fretboard. The C, A, G, F and D fingerings are presented as a way to cover the full range of the guitar neck in any key. Transition exercises help you shift from one position to another within a key, and modes are presented with exercises in various positions and ideas on how to apply them. Diminished scales, melodic minor scales, and two Bach inventions round out the study. Mastery of these exercises will lead to greater fluency throughout the entire fingerboard. The CD demonstrates all of the exercises.
