Anthology of Music for Analysis consists of more than 150 complete pieces or movements from Corelli to Tavener and is intended for use in several kinds of undergraduate and graduate theory courses, including tonal harmony, form and analysis, and music of the twentieth century. The accompanying Instructor's Manual of nearly three hundred pages contains features that make this anthology unlike any other:
- music that is both of the highest quality and pedagogically valuable for classroom use.
- selections featuring a variety of performance media, ranging from works for large ensemble orchestra, chorus) to chamber and solo works for voice, piano, organ, cello, viola, clarinet, bassoon, horn, trumpet, and string quartet.
