The Ultimate Personal Recording Studio
Editorial Reviews
Book Description
Recording music at home is easier than it has ever been, thanks to the proliferation of personal computers, as well as an overall price reduction and increase in sound quality of recording gear (e.g., microphones, preamps, mixers, and studio monitors). Because it is so cheap and easy to record, anybody with a musical sensibility can to do it - all you need is a solid foundation in how to capture sound, and what to do with it once it has been recorded. The Ultimate Personal Recording Studio provides this requisite knowledge. The concepts covered are applicable whether the reader plans to record at home, in a church or school, in a garage, in an apartment, or even in a concert situation. And although the applications and techniques are aimed at the beginning and intermediate recordist, they are also used by studio professionals.
