Book Description
The spacefaring family of Professor John Robinson launched their TV adventures in the far-ago year of 1965. They promptly got "lost in space." And so did we all.

A deliciously nostalgic book based on one of the era's most popular shows, Lost in Lost in Spaceincludes interviews with the men and women who created Lost in Space, as well as an unearthly explanation of the era that produced the show. Meet the Disney exectuve inspired by Sputnik's first "beep," swap trading card stories with the collector who invented Topps, and go backstage with the man who booked the Beatles and Elvis onto The Ed Sullivan Show.

Lost in Lost in Space is more than just a trivia or nostalgia book. It is a privileged look at a unique era in American life the midcentury decade that shaped a crucial generation. It's like spending an idyllic afternoon with old, familiar friends, on a strange planet where we all once lived.
